The FAQ

Do you Travel?

Yes! I primarily shoot in Portland and Bend, Oregon but am available for travel worldwide. Send me an email for more details!

How long have you been doing this?

I picked up a camera for the first time when I was 15. For years following that I always just thought it was a hobby. When I moved to Oregon in 2019, I decided to make it a career and have been shooting weddings, engagements, elopements, families, portraits and more since then!

How many photos do we get?

The number of photos you receive will range depending on which wedding day package you choose. You should expect at least 50 final photographs for every hour of coverage (there's usually a lot more though!).

How do we get our photos?

I deliver all final images via Pixieset, an online gallery platform. You can view, download, favorite, and purchase your photographs there (purchasing through Pixieset is not required though).

Do you retouch photos?

I retouch all photos, however, I do not alter, remove, or try to change any birthmarks or permanent skin blemishes, unless specifically asked to do so.

Whats your turn around time?

You will receive your photos 6-8 weeks after your wedding date. But not fret. I will send you photos along the way!

How do we book you?

Fill out the contact form or send me an email. I can answer all your questions and I recommend planning a phone call or in-person meeting to make sure we are a right fit.

Can you help us with planning?

Heck yes! I provide a customized timeline and a chance to meet to go over any questions you have. I can recommend vendors, event spaces, and just about anything you can think of.

How far out do you book?

I typically book between 6-9 months prior. However, it is common to book a few months beforehand, and I have even been booked one month before! The sooner the better though so you can ensure I'm available for your date.

Should we do a first look?

This is one of those things where you need to do what you WANT to do, but I will give you a few reasons why I think they are such a great idea. First, it’s such a beautiful moment with just you two. In a day that seems to fly by, having a moment like that is such a gift. It's also a great way to do all the bridal party photos so you aren’t rushing to get them done before the reception or chasing the sunset. And I have to say, doing this before my own wedding, this didn’t take away from walking down the aisle and seeing the look on my husband’s face. We still looked at each other exactly how both of us had always imagined.

Should we elope?

I have to admit that I am so envious of brides who chose to elope. It’s probably not what their family or friends wanted, but it’s what they wanted, and to be able to make that decision with 100% certainty is amazing. Weddings are expensive and sometimes can feel like a party for everyone but you and your fiance. My advice is if you want this is be solely about you guys—elope! But if you can’t imagine not having a big ‘ole party, then throw yourself a big ‘ole party. Everyone is different. But make the best decision for YOU.

Do you only photograph small weddings?

Nope! While they are my favorite, I LOVE big weddings, too! For my style of photography, smaller weddings allow for a more intimate experience between me and my couples. Less guests just means more time that I get to spend with you alone, and equally, more time you get to spend with your love.
